1 pkg. yellow cake mix 1 sm. pkg. vanilla pudding (regular or instant) 2 tbsp. oil 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. water Beat for 2 minutes on medium speed. Pour 1/2 of batter in greased and floured tube pan. STRUDEL MIX: 1/2 c. flour 1/2 c. brown sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 2 tbsp. melted butter Mix well. Put 2/3 of strudel mix on top of cake in tube pan. Add rest of batter and then finish topping with strudel mix. Bake 40-50 minutes at 375°F. Great as a breakfast coffee cake. | |

Really! It's called short-cut cooking. Some people like to dress up a cake-mix and make it look like homemade. Lots of valid reasons to use a recipe with a cake-mix.
