2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. Steen's syrup or any cane syrup
1 c. butter
1 c. strong cold coffee
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 boxes of raisins
2 c. nuts
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 tbsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
Flour, enough to stiffen dough

Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 to 55 minutes.
