COFFEE CAKE 
1 box raisins (not sticky)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter or 3 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
1 tsp. ground allspice
1 tsp. ground cloves
2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. strong coffee (liquid)

Cook raisins in strong coffee for 15 minutes. Let cool and drain. Mix flour with raisins and cool coffee. Beat together eggs, sugar, butter, cocoa, and spices. Flour nuts and add to raisins and what coffee is left. Bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours. Best to bake in tube pan.
