DENVER CHOCOLATE PUDDING 
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
1 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tbsp. vanilla (REAL vanilla extract)
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar (granulated)
4 tbsp. cocoa (Dutch is best)
1 c. cold water

Sift together first four ingredients. Put aside. Melt over hot water the butter and chocolate, and add to flour mixture. Stir in 1/2 cup of milk and vanilla. Pour into buttered 9 x 9 baking dish. Over the top scatter WITHOUT MIXING the brown sugar and white sugar and cocoa. When ready to bake, pour over the top the cup of cold water. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Let stand at room temperature. Serve warm but not chilled.

You will have a chocolate cake with the chocolate sauce in bottom of pan to be spooned over top. Can be topped with whipped cream.
