3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour

Cream shortening and sugar. Add 1 egg at a time and beat. Add milk and dry ingredients. Chill dough thoroughly. Roll small amount of dough at a time and press out with cookie cutters. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
