Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie

Outstanding! I used this recipe the first time I made this pie and a friend of mine that had no appetite from radiation treatments ate two pieces! I used another recipe a different time and it was good but definitely not the same delicious results I got from using this recipe. Soaking the pecans in bourbon makes a difference I believe and cutting down on the chocolate chips is another benefit as it makes the pie a little less sweet. This pies on the menu for Thanksgiving 2013!

I used the dark chocolate chips, which are less sweet and used a high quality bourbon. This is a great recipe and has now become my "go to recipe" for a bourbon pecan pie.
