PUFFY FRENCH TOAST | |
2 eggs 1 c. milk 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. sugar Beat together eggs and milk. Sift together dry ingredients. Add dry ingredients to milk and egg and beat. Cut 6 to 8 slices of bread in half diagonally. Heat oil at least 1/2" in frying pan until hot for deep fat frying. Dip bread into batter, fry until slightly brown. Turn and serve with syrup or jam. |
