SUPER THICK FRENCH TOAST | |
8 1-inch slices of Italian bread 8 eggs 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk Beat eggs well. Add milk, salt, and cinnamon. Mix well. Place in a large deep pan. Add bread and coat both sides well. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight, turning once. To cook, heat a little butter in large frying pan. Fry a few slices at a time, being sure they are cooked in the centers. Serve with maple syrup. |
