CHICKEN 'N DUMPLINGS 
1 (5 lb.) stewing chicken, cut up (fryer may be used)
1 med. onion
1 to 2 chopped celery stalks
Parsley flakes (added to dumplings)
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Use Bisquick mix for dumplings (directions on box)
Chicken broth (opt.)

In 8 quart pot boil chicken (washed). Add remaining ingredients after pouring off foam and adding fresh water. Reduce heat. Simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours (or until tender). Read directions for adding dumplings (Bisquick mix).
