SMOTHERED PORK CHOPS 
4-6 pork chops
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. meat seasoning
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. shortening
2 tbsp. flour
3 c. milk or water

Roll pork chops in flour and sprinkle with salt, pepper and meat seasoning; brown on both sides. Remove from pan and pour off all fat except 3 tablespoons. Add 2 tablespoons flour and water or milk to make gravy. Place pork chops in casserole and pour gravy over them. Dash paprika over top. Bake slowly for 1 hour.
