SEVEN-LAYER CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
Potatoes, sliced 1/4 inch thick
Carrots, sliced
Celery, diced
Onion, ringed
1 can peas, drained
1 can tomato soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can water
Sliced Colby cheese

In a 9x13x2 inch dish, layer ingredients just as listed, only using enough vegetables to make 1 layer thick. Mix soups and water together in a bowl and pour over casserole getting into all the corners. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. Remove and layer sliced cheese on top. R-cover and wait 5 minutes for cheese to melt. Serves 6.

NOTE: Very good on second day.
