1 yellow cake mix
1 stick butter, softened
2 cans fruit pie filling
1 can crushed pineapple
1 c. crushed walnuts or pecans, if desired

Dump 1 box of yellow cake mix in a bowl. Smush 1 softened stick of butter into mix until crumbly. Set aside.

Dump 2 cans of pie filling into a 13 x 9 inch pan (cherry, blueberry, apple, etc.). Dump 1 can of crushed pineapple. Mix around a little. Dump cake mixture on top evenly. Sprinkle nuts over top evenly. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with vanilla ice cream. Best served warm.
