OATMEAL CRUNCH COOKIES 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 1/2 c. oatmeal

Soften butter, blend in sugar. Beat in flour. Add oatmeal. Refrigerate for 1/2 hour. Roll into small balls and press (1/2" or smaller) with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes until edges are slightly browned. Sprinkle with powdered sugar (optional).
