PINEAPPLE SQUARES 
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
1 c. flour

Mix together until crumbly. 4 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 c. sugar

Cook until thickened.

Line 9 x 13 inch pan with 1/2 mixture of crust pressed down. Top with pineapple mixture. Crumble remaining mixture of crust on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
