POTATOES DELUXE 
1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed for 30 minutes
1 c. onion, diced
1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
1 (1 lb.) carton sour cream
1 stick butter, melted
8 oz. Sharp cheese, grated
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
1 c. potato chips, crushed

Mix together well and place in a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex baking dish. Sprinkle 1 cup crushed potato chips on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 12 to 13.
