COMPANY FRENCH TOAST 
4 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
12 slices thick bread
4 tbsp. butter

Beat eggs in bowl. Add milk, salt, sugar, vanilla, and nutmeg. Mix thoroughly. Dip bread in mixture. Coat both sides. Fry in butter over medium heat until browned on both sides. Serve hot with choice of syrup or powdered sugar. For a treat, use raisin bread.
