1/2 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
4 tsp. baking powder
Dash of salt
4 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. vanilla

Drop by tablespoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. Do not overcook, cookies are light in color. Makes about 50 cookies.

ICING FOR COOKIES:

8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 c. butter
1 box xxxx sugar

Cream together butter and cheese. Add about a box of confectioners' sugar until spreading consistency.
