2 c. mashed potatoes 2 egg yolks 2 tbsp. milk 2 tbsp. butter Melted butter Combine mashed potatoes, egg yolks, milk and 2 tablespoons butter. Beat until smooth. Turn into pastry bag fitted with star tip. Press out into 6 rosettes onto greased baking sheet (if no pastry bag is available, make 6 mounds of the mixture and use the top of a knife or spoon to press each mound into a pleasing pattern). Then brush potatoes with melted butter. Broil until heated through and lightly browned. Makes 6 servings. |
