Dutch Apple Crumble

 Trevor says:
To call this Dutch is to ignore most of the rest of Western Europe. This is a recipe my English grandmother gave to me and it can be traced back through our family for over 230 years. It and variations of it, abound in English cooking the only difference is that you can't use just any apples, a good apple pie or crumble should be made with Bramly apples and most important of all: It should taste of apples NOT Cinnamon.
