DUTCH APPLE CRUMBLE | |
6 med. apples, peeled, cored, sliced thinly 1/3 c. packed brown sugar 1/4 c. sugar 1/8 tsp. salt Dash of cinnamon Dutch Crumble Topping Toss apples with sugars, salt, spice; pour into greased 9 inch pie pan. Top with Dutch Crumble Topping. DUTCH CRUMBLE TOPPING: 1 c. butter 1 c. flour or sugar plus 1 tsp. baking soda Mix with pastry blender until pebble-like. Take a handful of dough and press together with your palms to form small piece of dough. Arrange over apples. Use all the dough in this manner. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. |
