SWISS APPLE PIE 
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1 lg. egg
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 to 2 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. nuts
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Add sugars to beaten egg. Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Add to egg and sugar mixture. Add apples and nuts and pour into a greased 9-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Top with ice cream or whipped cream and serve.
