EASY TATER TOT CASSEROLE WITH VEGETABLES | |
1 1/2 lb. extra-lean ground beef 1 (23 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup (Campbell's family size) 1/2 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen green beans (Birds Eye) 1/4 (16 oz.) pkg. mixed vegetables (Birds Eye) 1 (2 lb.) pkg. tater tots (Oreida) onion powder, to taste garlic powder, to taste shredded or grated cheese (optional) Follow tater tot package instructions for cooking time/temperature, usually 350°F for 18 to 20 minutes. You may want to cook this casserole for 25 minutes to make sure center is hot. Place green beans and mixed vegetables out to thaw in a large mixing bowl. Brown hamburger and drain. Stir together browned hamburger, vegetables and cream of mushroom soup in mixing bowl. Season with onion and garlic powder. In a large casserole dish, pour 1/2 of the meat/veggie/soup mix. Layer with tater tots. Pour remaining half of mix on top of tater tot layer. Arrange remaining tater tots on top. Bake, and enjoy!
