EASY ROULADEN 
8 chip steaks
8 slices of bacon
1 med. onion, finely sliced
Prepared French's mustard

On each steak, spread thin layer of mustard. Place bacon slice on top. Place a few slices of onion. Roll up snugly and fasten with toothpicks. Brown in small amount of shortening or oil. When well browned, add approximately 2 cups water and simmer for approximately 1 1/2 hours. Mustard will thicken gravy. Excellent with broad buttered noodles or mashed potatoes.

Variation: In roll, you can put a dill pickle, carrot, or omit pickle, mustard and carrot, and add bay leaf while simmering.
