GERMAN ROULADEN 
5 lb. tip of beef steak (boneless)
10 slices bacon
1 lg. onion
Salt & pepper
Bay leaf

Salt and pepper steak, lay 2 slices of bacon and onion on top. Roll up and secure with toothpicks. Brown slowly on stove top with 5 tablespoons of oil in deep pot, on all sides. Add water and cover meat. Add 1 bay leaf. Simmer 60 minutes on low heat until tender (covered). Thicken with cornstarch. Add salt to taste. Add 2 tablespoons sour cream.
