HOT MILK SPONGE CAKE 
4 eggs
1 2/3 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. hot milk

Beat eggs and sugar 5 minutes with electric mixer. Sift flour and baking powder together. To eggs and sugar, add flour and hot milk alternately until well blended.

Pour into 2 round greased and floured cake tins. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes; remove from pans. Top with favorite fruit and whipped cream or your favorite icing.
