WONDERFUL GINGERSNAPS 
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. molasses
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. ginger

Combine ingredients in the usual manner and mix well. Roll in small balls, dip in sugar and place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Can substitute 3/4 cup butter for the Crisco.
