SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
3 eggs
1/2 box brown sugar
1/2 stick butter
1 (9 inch) pie shell, unbaked
1 c. pecans
1 tbsp. vanilla
Dash of salt

Beat eggs, add sugar, dash of salt melted butter; add vanilla and pecans. Pour into unbaked pastry shell. Decorate top with pecan halves. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when sticking in center of pie. Cool to serve.
