LESLIE'S HARD CANDY 
(This can be used to make lollipops in molds. It's one of our daughter's first recipes. I don't know where she got it, but she came home one day when she was 11 years old and made this for the family.)

2 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. flavoring (orange, lemon, etc.)
Food coloring

Cook until thermometer reads 300 degrees; pour onto cookie pan sprayed with Pam.
