HARVARD BEETS 
1/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
1 (#2) can sliced beets with juice

Mix sugar and flour in saucepan. Add water and vinegar. Cook on medium heat until thick, stirring often. Add salt, butter and beets. Cook until beets are hot.
