BROWN BAG APPLE PIE 
9 inch unbaked pie shell
3-4 lg. apples
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon and nutmeg
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Mix apples, sugar, flour, spices and lemon juice; mix very well. Put in pie shell.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flour

Mix the topping until crumbly and sprinkle over apple mixture. Put pie in large brown grocery bag. Fold open end two times and staple shut. (Make sure pie doesn't touch sides of bag and bag doesn't touch sides of oven.) Bake in a 425 degree oven for 1 hour.
