BROWN BAG APPLE PIE 
Any size pie plate
1 box pie crust made as recommended

Use for bottom crust, only.

8 to 10 McIntosh apples, pare and slice
3/4 to 1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
Cinnamon to taste
Lemon juice 1 tbsp. (optional)

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter

Blend together.

Mix apples and ingredients - put into unbaked pie shell. Blend topping and spread on top of apples. Slide pie into brown paper bag. Fold open end twice - can fasten with paper clip. Place on cookie sheet.

Bake at 425 degrees for 1 hour. Slit open bag. Let cool.
