SAUSAGE BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. bulk sausage 6 slices bread, crusts removed Softened butter 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 5 eggs 2 c. half & half 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. salt Cook sausage over medium flame until done, stirring to crumble well; drain on paper towels and set aside. Spread each slice of bread with butter; cut into cubes. Place bread cubes in a 9 x 13 inch baking pan; sprinkle with sausage and top with cheese. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over sausage mixture. Chill at least 8 hours. Bake in a 350 degree oven 40 to 50 minutes. |
