HOMEMADE ROAST PORK (CHA SHU) | |
1 1/2 lb. pork loin SEASONING: 1/2 tbsp. Hoi-Sin sauce (seafood sauce) 1 tbsp. ginger juice 2 tbsp. cooking wine 3 tbsp. light soy sauce 4 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. honey Wash and wipe pork loin. Slice in 1/3 inch thick. Marinate for 1 hour. Heat 3 tablespoons oil in wok, shallow fry pork loin on both sides, add in seasoning. Cover with a lid and bake for 10 minutes over low heat until the meat is cooked. Turn over in-between the cooking time until slight dark on both side. Brush in honey, slice and serve. NOTE: The dish can be baked by an oven. |
