RAISIN NUT BREAD | |
2 c. raisins 1 1/2 c. boiling water 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tbsp. butter 2 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. sugar 3 c. flour Pinch of salt 1 1/2 c. walnuts Mix first 5 ingredients and let cool. Cream eggs and sugar; add flour and salt. Add cooled raisin mix and walnuts. Pour into 4 small loaf pans that have been greased. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven; cover with tea towel until cool. |
