AYRES' BARBECUE BEEF | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 tbsp. salad oil 1 lg. onion (7 tbsp.) 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. vinegar 3/4 c. ketchup 1 green pepper, seeded & chopped (1/2 c.) (optional) 2 tbsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. salt Brown meat in salad oil until crumbly. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve on toasted buns. |
