HOMEMADE BREAD 
3 1/2 c. warm water (100-110 degrees)
2 pkgs. yeast, reg. or rapid-rise
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
3 tbsp. oil or shortening
10 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in water. Stir in sugar, salt and oil. Add flour, 1-2 cups at a time. Let rise until doubled. Knead down, put into 3 bread pans already sprayed with cooking baking spray. Let rise again to full size. Bake at 400 degrees (375 degrees for glass pans) for 40 minutes.

To make wheat or rye bread, substitute no more than 2-3 cups of wheat or rye flour.

I made this bread this morning, it was easy and delicious although I did have to substitute 3 cups of oatmeal and 2 cups of Bisquick as I did not have 10 cups of flour, but it was really easy and very good.
