CALIFORNIA SHERRY CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 lg. (5 1/2 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
3/4 c. oil
3/4 c. California sherry
1 tsp. nutmeg

Combine all ingredients. Beat 4-5 minutes. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done. Top with frosting. Serves 12-16.

FROSTING:

1 c. plus 2 tbsp. brown sugar
3/4 c. softened butter
1/3 c. cream
1 1/2 c. coconut

Combine all ingredients. Spread on cooled cake. Place cake under broiler. Broil 2-4 minutes until golden brown.
