MAMA TASSIES BISCUITS 
5 c. self-rising flour
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco or lard
2 c. buttermilk

Mix flour and sugar. Work in shortening until crumbly. Add yeast cake mixture to buttermilk. Then add dry ingredients. Roll out thick, cut out, let rise 5 to 10 minutes or so. Bake at 475 degrees.
