FRESH APPLE DESSERT 
1 yellow cake mix
1/2 c. softened butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2-3 lg. cooking apples
2 c. sour cream
2 eggs
Nuts (opt.)

Mix cake mix, butter, sugar and cinnamon until crumbly. Reserve 2/3 cup mixture. Press remaining in bottom of ungreased 9"x13" pan. Arrange apple slices on top of cake mixture and some chopped nuts. Beat sour cream and egg until blended. Spread over apples. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes until light golden brown.
