BUSY DAY APPLESAUCE CAKE 
1 (18.25 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
1/3 c. oil
1 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 c. applesauce
3 eggs
Ground nutmeg

GLAZE:

1 c. sifted powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. rum extract
1 tsp. light corn syrup
2 to 3 tbsp. applesauce

In large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, applesauce, oil, eggs, cinnamon, 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg and cloves. Mix at low speed of electric mixer until moist, then at high speed for 2 minutes.

Pour mixture into greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until toothpick placed in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Invert onto serving plate and cool.

Combine powdered sugar, rum extract, corn syrup and applesauce in mixing bowl. Mix until smooth and of drizzling consistency. Drizzle glaze over top of cake. Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg. 12 servings.
