BEST PECAN PIE 
1 cube butter
1 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. sugar
3 lg. eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
1 c. chopped pecans

Brown butter in saucepan over medium heat until golden brown. DO NOT BURN. Let cool. In separate bowl add ingredients in order listed. Blend in golden brown butter. Pour into unbaked pie shell at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until done.
