BEST EVER PECAN PIE 
1 stick butter
1 c. light Karo syrup
1 c. sugar
3 lg. eggs
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
1 c. chopped pecans

Saute butter in saucepan until golden brown. Be careful not to burn. Set aside to cool. Mix other ingredients in order given. Add cooled butter to this mixture. Pour into 9 or 10 inch unbaked pie shell. Bake 10 minutes at 425 degrees, then bake 40 to 45 minutes at 325 degrees.
