POLISH BEEF STEW STEAK AND
VEGETABLES
 
1 round steak
1 green pepper
Salt
Pepper
2 celery stalks
4 carrots
Oil
Flour
2 potatoes
1 lg. c. tomato juice
Garlic salt

Lightly salt and pepper the round steak. Cut up in serving size pieces. Brown steak in oil. Add enough tomato juice to cover steak, simmer. Add some garlic salt. Cut celery in 2-inch long strips. Add to meat. Cut green pepper into 6- 12 strips. Add to meat. Peel carrots, and potatoes, and cut into large pieces and add to meat. Add more tomato juice as needed. Cook at least 1 hour at 350 degrees until vegetables are tender. Stir in a little flour to thicken.
