MINT FROSTED CHOCOLATE COOKIES 
2 squares baking chocolate
1 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans (opt.)

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, melted chocolate and dry ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

FROSTING: Cream 1/4 cup butter and 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar. Add 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract. Add another 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar. Add enough milk to make frosting spreadable. Tint with green food coloring.
