TUNA GARLIC SAUCE FOR PASTA 
6 1/2 oz. can tuna, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. parsley
1/2 c. red wine
3/4 c. olive oil
1/2 can (6 oz.) tomato puree
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. strained fresh tomato or 2 c. canned tomatoes, chopped

Put half garlic, 1/2 teaspoon basil, 1/2 teaspoon parsley, 1/2 teaspoon salt in saucepan with 1/2 the olive oil. Saute' for 1 minute. Do not let garlic get brown. Take off heat and add tuna and tomato puree. Saute' with wine until puree has melted, add tomatoes and simmer 5 minutes.

Take off heat and add remainder garlic, basil, parsley and olive oil.

Serve over pasta.
