DATES BALLS 
1 c. chopped pecans
8 oz. dates, chopped
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
Powdered sugar

Melt butter, sugar, vanilla, nuts and dates over low heat until mushy. Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies. Cool, then form into balls and roll in powdered sugar.
