SWEDISH RUSKS 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour cream, cultured
1 c. almonds, finely chopped
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. crushed cardamom seed
1 tsp. salt

Mix as for cake. Bake 40 to 50 minutes in 350 degree oven in 9 x 13 inch pan. Cool. Slice into 3 rows lengthwise. Slice rather thin and brown on a cookie sheet in a moderate oven. Turn over once. Watch, they brown easily. If you prefer not baking them all at one time, the rolls can be wrapped in Saran Wrap and stored in freezer.
