1 3/4 c. water
1 c. oatmeal
1 stick butter
2 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cocoa
1 lg. pkg. chocolate chips
3/4 c. pecans

Boil water and pour over oatmeal and butter. Let stand 5 minutes. Add other ingredients with 1/2 of the chocolate chips. Pour into greased 11x13 pan. Sprinkle with remaining chips and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
