MOCK RAVIOLI | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 clove garlic, minced 1 pkg. frozen spinach 1 (16 oz.) can spaghetti sauce 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1/2 tsp. salt, dash pepper 2 c. shell macaroni, cooked 1 c. shredded sharp cheese 1/2 c. bread crumbs 2 well-beaten eggs 1/4 c. salad oil Brown and drain first 3 ingredients. Cook spinach; reserve liquid and add water to make 1 cup. Add spinach liquid and sauces, salt and pepper to meat; simmer 10 minutes. Combine spinach, macaroni, and remaining ingredients. Spread in 13x9 baking dish and top with meat sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes (uncovered). Let stand 10 minutes before serving. |
