INSIDE-OUT RAVIOLI | |
1 lb. hamburg 1 med. onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1 tbsp. salad oil 2 pkg. spinach 1 (1 lb.) jar Ragu meat sauce 1 (8 oz.) can Hunt's tomato sauce 1/2 tsp. salt Dash of pepper 1 (16 oz.) pkg. elbows 4 oz. American cheese, shredded 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs 2 well-beaten eggs Brown first 3 ingredients in salad oil. Cook spinach, drain, reserving liquid; add enough water to make 1 cup. Stir spinach liquid and next 4 ingredients into meat mixture, simmer 10 minutes. Cook elbows in bowl, mix elbows, spinach and rest of ingredients. Spread elbow mixture in bottom of 9x13x2 inch baking dish, top with meat sauce. Cover with tin foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serves 8-10. |
