1 3/4 c. boiling water
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 lg. eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cocoa
Nuts if desired
Chocolate chips

Pour boiling water over oatmeal; let stand 10 minutes. Add other ingredients. Pour in 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
